as many of you know (and if you don’t you should), metallica finally has a new studio album coming out in about a week.  for those of you like myself who can’t wait that long, my buddy travis pointed out that they have a 6 song preview on their website.

so stop whatever mindless, pointless, useless thing you’re doing right now, and go listen.

as a side note, i love the fact that they’ve gone back to their old logo.  the past couple iterations were ok i guess, but this one is just classic.  and after listening the tracks online, i think its indicative of the direction they’ve gone musically.  back to their roots of good solid, wholesome, heavy metal.
