Follow The Yellow Brick Road…

after many long hours of labor in 90+ degree heat, we have finally finished the paths in our back yard.

From the carport to the deck.

From the backyard, down the side of the house, to the front yard.

this is probably the toughest home improvement project we’ve done ourselves, at least in terms of pure effort. the funny thing is, we originally weren’t going to do stone at all, just pavers or something. we just figured stone would be too cost-prohibitive. turns out pavers, at least nicer looking ones, were more expensive. weird. anyway, so glad this is done. backyard is finally starting to look like someone gives a shit.

at long as you don’t look too close.
