Street View Stereographic is a fun little web app that creates a “little planet” (i.e. stereographic projection) using the photos from any Google Street View location you provide it.

pretty awesome. just click anywhere or enter an address in the bar under the map and there you go. doesn’t work as well on streets with really tall buildings, as you can’t see the tops, but you get some really great effects when theres lots of power lines or highway underpasses.
